I. Am. Exhausted!!!!

What is it about a cranky and crying baby that is so exhausting? Now that she is finally sleeping I can still hear her cries in my head and I still feel the tension in my neck and back. The kid does not put me through this that often but when she does I feel like she makes up for all those days where she is my calm and sweet child. Its as if she is saying, "Hey.........what if you had to deal with this every day, Mom? Aren't ya glad you don't?"

I am SO glad... So, so, so, so, sooooo glad.

I need a cookie now.
